Letter : May 29, 1826, New Orleans to Joseph Watson, Philadelphia.

Morgan has returned to Watson, the mayor of Philadelphia, three Black boys who he claims were removed unlawfully from Philadelphia. He has paid part of their passage on the Brig Catharine and requests credit. Beneath his signature is acknowledgement of payment. Tipped in is also a statement of payment to the owners of the Brig for passage of the three boys.
